OPTION 1: PREBOOK‍
Search through our wide range of artists and tattoo styles via the official Inked Expo website. You can filter artists by tattoo style, location and availability, browse their work and send a direct enquiry straight to the artist’s email. Once you’ve found the right artist for you, reach out directly to the artist or studio through their preferred contact method to discuss your idea and book your Inked Expo tattoo!

OPTION 2: YOLO
Purchase your Inked Expo ticket and explore aisles of tattoo studios and artist booths throughout the weekend. Many artists will have flash designs ready to tattoo and offer walk up appointments for those who find something they love on the day. Tattoo pricing varies between independent artists, so simply chat with the artist at their booth about their availability, designs and pricing.

No worries — you can easily change your ticket yourself through Eventbrite.

How to Change Your Ticket:
Log into your Eventbrite account:
Go to “Tickets” Select your Inked Expo order
Click “Change Ticket”
Click "Change ticket type"
Choose the new day you’d like to attend
Confirm the update
If there is a price difference between ticket types or days, Eventbrite will automatically prompt you to pay or process a refund for the difference.

We are thrilled to be expanding and cant wait to bring Inked Expo to the Sunny state!

No the tattoos are not free. Each artist sets their own pricing and booking requirements.
Your ticket does however put you in front of over 200 talented tattoo artists to help you find the right artist and design for you all in one place.

Proper aftercare reduces the risk of infection and speeds healing times. Your tattoo is a fresh wound, and needs to be looked after properly!

Inked Expo Brisbane brings together hundreds tattoo artists for three huge days of live tattooing, art, competitions, shopping and tattoo culture. Get tattooed by an artist you love, discover someone new, watch tattoos come to life or simply explore the expo.Across the weekend, catch the Ink Off Battles, Inked Awards, live panels, Amphora Exhibition, Halloween Dress Up Contest, live entertainment and more. You’ll also find a huge range of tattoo brands, clothing, art, jewellery, oddities and independent vendors throughout the expo.

FIRST TIME AT INKED?
‍You don’t need a tattoo appointment or even have tattoos to come along. Browse hundreds of artist booths, watch live tattooing, shop, catch the competitions and soak up the atmosphere. If you do want to get tattooed, you can book directly with an artist before the expo or find artists taking walk ups on the day.

Yes. You still need to purchase a ticket to gain entry to Inked Expo.
If you do not have a ticket you will get through the doors.
We also have add on VIP Packs for purchase.

Inked Expo is open to all ages! Children 14 and under can enter free with a paying adult. Those aged 14 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please note that under Australian law, it is illegal to tattoo anyone under the age of 18.
Minors cannot receive tattoos at the event, even with parental consent.

Getting to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre is easy, whether you are driving or using public transport.

‍Public Transport
BCEC is located in South Bank, one of Brisbane’s best connected precincts.
‍
‍Train: South Brisbane Station is just a short walk from the venue.
‍Bus: Multiple bus routes service the Cultural Centre and South Bank busways nearby.
‍Ferry: CityCat and ferry services stop at South Bank terminals, only a few minutes away on foot.
We recommend using public transport where possible, especially during peak event times.

‍Parking
On site parking is available at BCEC, with entry via Merivale Street. Parking rates vary depending on duration and event demand, but typically range from short stay hourly rates to full day parking options.

Yes! But always be mindful of others and do not enter artist booths.
We want to see your time at Inked! Take photos, get those selfies and make reels,

Each artist will have their own methods of payment. ATMs are available within the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre for visitor convenience.
NOTE: Many facilities at BCEC, including parking and canteen, are now cashless and require card payments.
